Printing Process

We use a specialized dye sublimation printing method to produce vibrant, high-quality graphics for a long-lasting, durable trade show displays.

The Sublimation process includes:

Printing onto Transfer Paper: The custom graphics are printed onto a unique transfer paper using dye sublimation ink. This ink, formulated for sublimation, transforms from a solid to a gas without going through a liquid state.

Fabric Preparation: We use a white polyester-blend fabric, specifically chosen for its ability to absorb dye sublimation ink. Any additional colors including black, are applied during the printing process.

Heat Transfer Process: The printed transfer paper is carefully positioned face down onto the fabric, creating a layered setup. The combination is then subjected to high heat and pressure within a heat press machine. Each time the machine moves back and forth across the fabric is called a "pass" industry standards are to complete 6-8 passes, however, our personal company standard is 14 passes.

Sublimation: The heat causes the dye sublimation ink on the paper to then bonds permanently with the polyester fibers of the fabric. This process ensures that the colors become an integral part of the fabric increasing longevity.

There are many advantages to dye sublimation printing for trade show displays such as exceptional image quality, durability, versatility, and detailed imagine reproduction.
