Creating UPS labels

Sign into UPS’s website and then click create a shipment.


Step 1: Where:

The address will default to Austin and Ferndale for the Ship From/Return To, so make sure both are edited.

Ship From – Please edit to be the pickup/ ship from address.

Return To – If the address requires the Suite Number or RMA field, click EDIT ADDRESS.

Choose an Account - 5R1F52 – Trade Show Display Corp

Example:

Contact name: C/O Trade Show Display Corp

Address 1: 6934 Salashan Pkwy

Address 2: RMA # 123456-R01

Zip: 98248

City: Ferndale

State: WA

Phone no: 888.977.1223


Step 2: What

Packaging Type: My Packaging

Total Identical Packages: Change if there are multiple packages. If the packages are not identical due to different weights, see ‘Add Another Package’ below this section.

Weight per package: Enter in LB. Weights can be found on the original tracking number.

Length x Width x Height: UPS does not list their measurements on our tracking numbers, but package dimensions found under the "Product Details" section on the product page of our websites.

Total Package Value: Leave blank

Add reference numbers:  Input the RMA number; 123456-C01, 123456-R01, 123456-RESHIP

If packages are not identical in weight/size, repeat the above steps by hitting Add Another Package.

Step 3: How

Select method of shipping. Double check when the package can be picked up/ needs to arrive in-case a client’s show is upcoming. If it’s a return, ground shipping is fine.

Weekend delivery is highly unreliable, so only use when absolutely necessary.


Step 4: Details

Add support@backdrop.com to email updates so we can stay notified of the status. Select notify, ship, exception, delivery. Other details can be left blank.


Step 5: Payment

Select Bill My Account


Step 6: Review

All details can be double checked and then edited in this field. If the label is no longer needed, select CANCEL SHIPMENT at the bottom. If shipping details are correct, select PAY AND GET LABELS.
