Rush Options & Vendors

What is RUSH?
•RUSH option speeds up the graphic portion of the order. Printing at a local facility reduces the
shipping time and risk of customs delays.
• This guarantees that orders will ship more reliably, so the client can receive the graphics in 3-6 business days (timing varies by product and vendor) instead of the standard 8 days.
What is Expedited Shipping?
• For ES/XP/RUSH orders, Expedited Shipping is for the hardware portion of the order. FedEx ground
can get to anywhere in US in 5 business days.
• Since our warehouse is in WA, it takes 2-3 days shipping to anywhere in the west coast and around 5 days to the east coast.
• If an east coast client wants to receive their hardware sooner than 5-6 business days, they can pay for expedited shipping (3 days, 2 days or Overnight). This shipping option should only apply to RUSH orders or hardware only orders.

Things to keep in mind when determining a clients rush options
Can the item be rushed?
Not all items can be rushed, so it is important to refer to the relevant resources when
quoting timelines to clients. These include the ‘Updated Production Guide 2022’ power
point and the ‘TSDC Product Guidelines’ google sheet. Keep in mind that certain products, such as XP products, the Waterfall TV stand, and QuickZip Headers, can only be rushed at NAD, resulting in a minimum turnaround time of 5 business days. For products that can be rushed at B2 or WS, expedited shipping options can be considered to further shorten the turnaround time.
Do they have previous orders?
When a client is looking for rush production on their items it is important to check if they
have any previous orders with us. This can affect if and where we can rush products can be reduced and may affect the timeline or other aspects of the order, like color matching.
Will any previous orders match what they are looking to order
Products from ES and XP have slight differences in size, so we need to make sure their
rush product will match what they already have if they plan to use them together.
Although ES products can be rushed anywhere, XP products can only be rushed at
NAD. This can also affect timelines as NAD rush cannot be done in less than 5 business
days without calling to confirm.
If B2, do they need expedited shipping as well?
Rush production brings the turnaround time down to 5 business days, however if a client
needs it in an even shorter timeline there are other options to consider. If the product can be rushed at B2, they can also add expedited shipping to further decrease the timeline. B2 has a 1 business day turnaround time, so you can choose the most relevant shipping method depending on the requested in-hand date.
Will they make the cut off time for the rush facility?
It is important to remember that NAD and WS have a target approval deadline of 11am
PST, while B2 has a deadline of 2pm PST. If we are already passed the deadline, that
will need to be taken into account when quoting timelines.
